THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR ENGINEERING

Abstract: This paper presents a clear view of sustainable development for engineering as a profession. The engineering profession has its basis in all polytechnics, universities and its equivalence which prepared the engineers for the various tasks in the labor market. It is a profession that requires specialized knowledge and often requires considerable preparation in skills, methods, and principle. The professions also maintains high standards of advancement and conduct, encouraged life long learning, and engaged in public service. It is also an art that must be practice to perfection. The majority of the engineers are employed by Local, State, and Federal governments with others in industrial sectors of the economy. Hence , whatever the method of teaching, or the career stage of the students, the proper knowledge set out here can be used to assist in the delivery of effective learning about the contribution of engineering to meeting the challenges of sustainable development.
CONSTRUCTION AND TRIAL EXPERIMENT OF A SMALL SIZE THERMO-ACOUSTIC REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

Abstract: This paper envisages with the construction and working of a thermoacoustic refrigerator cum heat engine. The arrangement consists of three major parts, i.e. a resonance tube, stack and a loud speaker. Thermoacoustics is a joint venture of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and acoustics. The motive of this work is to construct a standing wave thermoacoustic system in order to avoid the harmful effects of CFCs and to develop a model which encourages the use of non conventional energy source in order to set aside the use of conventional energy. Moreover, with the use of an inert gas the more control on temperature could be achieved. The simple construction with no moving part is one of the most apposite factor of the setup.
DESIGN ANALYSIS OF CMOS VOLTAGE MODE SRAM CELL USING DIFFERENT NM TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract: In this paper design analysis of SRAM cell has been performed. The developed model uses the voltage mode method to reduce the voltage swing during the write operation switching. Dynamic power dissipation decreases when the foundry size of the SRAM cell decreases. In the proposed design two voltage sources have been connected with input line for reducing the voltage swing during the write “0” or write “1” operation. CMOS technology with 1 volt of power supply has been used and Dynamic power for different foundry is calculated. The developed design has been compared with conventional 6T SRAM cell. The simulation results show that the power dissipation is decreases with decrease in foundry size of the proposed SRAM model. It can be observed from the simulation that the power dissipation has been decreased from 4.04% to 10.44% by reducing the foundry size from 90nm to 65nm to 45 nm.
MERGING UIDAI WITH ECI DETAILS FOR SECURE REMOTE VOTE (USING ANDROID)

Abstract: The Aadhar card, unique identity given by government of India and advancement in the mobile devices, wireless and web technologies given rise to the new application that will make the voting process very easy and efficient. The remote voting application merges the UIDAI and ECI details and on that basis allows voter for convenient, easy and safe way to capture and count the votes in an election. This paper provides the specification and requirements for remote voting using an Android platform. The remote voting means the voting process in election by using electronic device from remote place. We also described how the android mobile phones are efficient and can be used for voting. The android platform is used to develop an application. Using the OTP generated from server the login can be done very efficiently.
DETECTION OF BREAST CANCER USING FIREFLY ALGORITHM

Abstract: Cancer is one of the common diseases occurring among the people all over the world. It can be due to various reasons. This includes different habitats, environmental disorders etc. Cancer detected at early stages can save millions, if effective treatment is given at the right time it will make damage to any part of body. One of the means to detect cancer is firefly algorithm, the mammographic image is clustered using biclustering algorithm and then the process segmentation is performed. After the segmentation procedure features from the image are extracted .Using the firefly algorithm the best feature is calculated. Finally, by the application of the neural network the present condition of the cancer is displayed. Clustering and biclustering methods are the primary techniques involved in analyzing gene expression data which include gene grouping, genes classification and sample classification. Along with the classical clustering methods, biclustering is preferred to analyze datasets of the biological data.
