CORDIC ALGORITHM FOR SINUSOIDAL CALCULATIONS

Abstract: This paper describes the application of the CORDIC Algorithm’s to find the sine and cosine of an angle in integer form. The only operations it requires are addition, subtraction, bit shift and table lookup which makes it the first choice if the hardware multiplier is not available. The algorithm is implemented here for an angle of 30o and the Active-HDL results are shown along with sine and cosine values in the tabular form for different rotation angles.

Abstract: This paper describes the key aspects of simulation of a 16-bit Microprocessor’s hardware using VHDL to visualize the data flow and control signaling inside the microprocessor. Functioning of all the key components such as CPU, ALU, RAM, Registers and Control unit are visualized analytically through the VHDL simulated waveforms. All the components are simulated separately by writing the separate VHDL code for them.

Abstract: A very high speed wireless link that provide good quality of service(QOS) and range capability in non-line-of sight is demanded by many applications.The increase in demand for higher data rate, good QOS and higher network capacity over wireless link is achieved by using MIMO-OFDM technology.MIMO technology increases spectral efficiency ,link reliability and data throughput .On the other hand OFDM divides the radio channel into many narrowband subchannel or subcarriers and reduce fading and also ISI.OFDM combines with MIMO increases diversity gain and enhance system performance.In this paper simulation results are obtained for SISO-OFDM and MIMO-OFDM for 2*2,3*3 and 4*4 antennas.Also capacity results are obtained for SISO-OFDM and MIMO-OFDM.The simulation result shows that MIMO-OFDM perform better than SISO-OFDM in terms of BER and SNR.
IMPLEMENTATION OF MIMO-OFDM USING ADAPTIVE MODULATION DETECTION WITH DIFFERENT MODULATION TECHNIQUES

Abstract: In next generation wireless communication system high data rates, better quality of service and higher network capacity is required by many applications. The combination of MIMO with OFDM is a solution to achieve above objectives for next generation network operating in frequency selective fading environment. The AMUD MIMO-OFDM system employs adaptive receivers to achieve better performance in computational complexity ,bit error rate(BER) and capacity.AMUD MIMO-OFDM perform better compared to non-adaptive MIMO-OFDM at low SNR.In this paper simulation results are obtained for SISO-OFDM,MIMO-OFDM and AMUD MIMO-OFDM for 2*2,3*3 and 4*4 antennas. Also capacity and BER results are obtained for different antenna configuration and different modulation techniques for SISO-OFDM, MIMO-OFDM and AMUD MIMO-OFDM.The simulation results shows that AMUD MIMO-OFDM performs better when compared to SISO-OFDM and MIMO-OFDM in terms of BER AND SNR.

Abstract: Amongst various online attacks hampering IT security, Denial of Service (DoS) has the most devastating effects. It has also put tremendous pressure over the security experts lately, in bringing out effective defense solutions. These attacks could be implemented diversely with a variety of tools and codes. Since there is not a single solution for DoS, this attack has managed to prevail on internet for nearly a decade. DDoS attackers hijack secondary victim systems using them to wage a coordinated large-scale attack against primary victim systems. As new countermeasures are developed to prevent or mitigate DDoS attacks, attackers are constantly developing new methods to circumvent these new countermeasures. In this paper, we describe DDoS attack models and propose taxonomies to characterize the scope of DDoS attacks, the characteristics of the software attack tools used, and the countermeasures available and implementation of a defense strategy through automatic command insertion using SSH.
DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION & SIMULATION OF HIGH SPEED LOW AREA COMPARATOR WITH DIFFERENT ARCHITECTURES

Abstract: In A High Speed CMOS Comparator is proposed to get high speed, low power dissipation, and low offset. It uses the conventional data to form the new design as base for improvement in design. The comparator is having low voltage but not reduce to zero due to internal parameters whose effect will be reduced in future. The circuit designing obtained from Hysteresis effects obviously having positive feedback. The proposed structure is also immune against noise and offset voltage.The required area is reduced up to 2µm from conventional design. Structures are improved from previous size to 80nm between areas of gate-to-drain of Mosfet. Tested Circuit exhibited low propagation delay, high speed, low area and low power dissipation. These are compared to get superior circuits for digital devices.
OPTIMAL SIZING CALCULATIONOF AUTO-SWITCHED CAPACITOR BANKFOR ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION IN TPP DISTRIBUTED POWER NETWORK

Abstract: This paper presents a proposed technique to solve the optimal placement and sizing problem offixed capacitor banks in distributed power networks in smart grid environment. The objective isto monitor and regulate the network voltage centrally, regarding the overall voltage profile or improvement of overall power factor in thepower system for the construction process of Thermal Power Plant (TPP).Thus, it is essential to build a database that providesthe optimal location and sizing of capacitor units for different loading conditions. This databasecan be used in a subsequently steps for construction power network using power factors of various machines & motors. Uses of various algorithm makes it time taking process with tedious work. So with the help of some commonly known factors sizing can be done.
OPTIMIZED UAV FLIGHT MISSION PLANNING USING STK & A* ALGORITHM

Abstract: This paper titled “Optimized Flight Mission Planning Using STK & A* Algorithm” presents an application that allows maps, charts, weather, intelligence and aircraft performance data to be used in developing navigation solutions (e.g. routes, approaches, terminal procedures), communication settings, flight/mission calculations (fuel, leg times, etc), and other pertinent aircraft operational data. This applicationincludes visual software tools optimizedfor specific aircraft roles, and automate the computations associated withaircraft specific flight/mission planning. The main aim during a mission planning is to plan an optimized route for the UAV to avoid detection by enemy radars. The UAV route planned must cover maximum area over a desired area of interest. STK (Systems Tool Kit) and A* algorithm is used optimize the mission route.
SMART COLLEGE BUS TRACKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ITS APPLICATION

Abstract: The bus tracking system is a cost effective and efficient system. Using this system four application will be developed. First application is establishing communication between college server and bus system which is capable of providing real-time data regarding the current location of buses. Second application is sending a group messages i.e. alert messages to the students waiting at the next stop, changes in current route, bus number, etc., hence it saves the time of students. Third application is generation of e-bus pass system which is an eco friendly as there is no need of generation of plastic bus passes. Last application is developing an emergency handling system which will send alert messages simultaneously to college, police and ambulance in case of accidents.
OVERALL THD ANALYSIS OF MULTICARRIER PDPWM BASED NEW CASCADED MULTILEVEL INVERTER WITH REDUCED SWITCH OF DIFFERENT LEVELS AT DIFFERENT CARRIER FREQUENCY

Abstract: In this paper a new multilevel inverter (MLI) topology with less number of controlled switches than that of conventional multilevel inverter has been introduced. The proposed topology employs a multi conversion cell consisting of number of voltage sources of same magnitude, one H – bridge and number of controlled switches depending on the number of voltage sources or level of the MLI. Reduced number of switches reduces cost, switching stress of inverter. Also it reduces the complexity associated with control circuit for generating gating signal for switches. Phase Opposition Disposition Pulse Width Modulation (PDPWM) technique is used here to generate gating signal. Thus, the present scheme shows overall THD for different levels and different carrier frequencies.
